Around the oldest remaining port basin of this Hanseatic city, B&L Group developed the Holzhafen quarter, the model for which is a harmonious combination of modern, award-winning architecture and the established structures of the traditional port district. The complex of six unusual properties with different types of use characterises the appearance of Hamburg’s waterside area: the distinctive office buildings of Holzhafen Ost and Holzhafen West, the Kristall residential tower block, the Clipper Elb-Lodge boarding house and the Neuer Hafenklang as well as the Holzhafen Terrassen built in 2015 with their mix of office, retail and catering areas.
