300 Tons of Steel for ANQR’s Structural Framework

Construction work on the ANQR in Frankfurt is in full swing. Following the site setup in January, structural work commenced in February.

By mid-March, 300 tons of reinforcement steel had already been installed. The structural work, carried out by IBB Haus- und Industriebau GmbH, involved 35 steel fixers working at full speed to construct the base slab. This slab serves as the foundation for the high-rise core, which forms the main load-bearing structure of the ANQR Tower. The completion of the high-rise’s base slab is scheduled for the end of April, while the slab for the entire complex is expected to be finished by the end of May. The structural work on the underground car park is planned for the third quarter of 2025. This will be followed by the construction of the above-ground buildings, with structural completion targeted for summer 2026. The ING Bank will move its German headquarters into the ANQR Tower as the anchor tenant.
