As part of a pre-opening, the hotel will welcome its first guests from 28 October, while the official opening is planned for November. After delays caused by the economic situation, the pre-opening marks an important step in the urban redevelopment of Saarbrücken's city centre. The architecturally outstanding building, designed by Kunst + Herbert, with 202 modern guest rooms, spread over 8 floors, with a spectacular view of the city centre panorama of the city. Thanks to its central location between the between the trade fair centre and the main railway station, the hotel offers ideal conditions for both business and leisure travellers. The project's sustainability measures are particularly noteworthy: the building was subsidised in accordance with BEG standards (Efficiency Building 55) and boasts an ultra-modern façade, efficient building technology and large-scale photovoltaic systems.
